MWR OHIO-1 firmware
OHIO-1 Stable 10122601
Operator-confirmed flown firmware; hold-preserving failsafe descent and reduced MSP notice repetition.
Operator-selected Stable. Weak-flow drift and existing RF/pressure Z limits remain. No parameter changes; no reflash if already on 10122601. Individual failsafe fault cases remain simulation-qualified unless physically checked.

- Last confirmed flown 10122601 → Stable / Intermediate / Experimental 10122601: the identical tested APJ is selected in all three local working lanes. No new aircraft build, control change, parameter change or reflash is required for an aircraft already running 10122601.
- The operator reports that the current experimental build looked and worked well and preserved the prior flown flight characteristics. This is Flight-proven by operator report at that scope; no new raw flight log was supplied, and it does not independently qualify every failsafe/sensor fault combination.
- Compared with outgoing Stable 10042601, this includes the isolated AGL floor-velocity correction from flown 10102602 and the 10122601 landing/MSP notice changes. The rejected delayed-decay experiment remains excluded.
- When RC is lost from the supported hold modes, landing neutralizes pilot XY/yaw input and descends using the existing landing logic while retaining the normal optical-flow or GPS hold controller when usable. An initially unavailable optical-flow path can recover during descent. The last stick command is not held. Ordinary weak-flow drift and the controller's existing qualification/braking limits remain; this does not guarantee position hold in darkness.
- The repetitive GPS-is-specified-as-MSP configuration notice is limited to once per receiver initialization/configuration cycle. GPS backend timeouts and health warnings remain functional.
- For additional aircraft, preserve individual calibration and tuning. No parameter edits are required by this promotion. Verify ordinary hover and controlled landing with generous clearance; bench-check loss/recovery of RC with propellers removed before a supervised failsafe landing check. Do not infer that weak optical flow can brake or hold position.
- Existing RF/pressure-related Z bob, terrain ambiguity, and RF-loss/braking limits are not claimed fixed by this promotion. Hosted Previous Release retains 10042601. Older local releases and snapshots remain available.
OHIO-1 Previous Release 10042601
Outgoing Stable preserved for rollback.
Stable by operator selection; known RF/pressure-related Z bob or drift remains. Overturn cutoff is enabled by default; Acro/Turtle are exempt. No new flight behavior versus flown 10042601.

- Outgoing Stable 10042601 retained as rollback. This predates the AGL floor repair and hold-preserving failsafe landing in 10122601. Preserve and verify aircraft parameters on rollback.
- FS_OVERTURN=1 disarms beyond 90 degrees of roll or pitch. Acro/Turtle are exempt; RC6 Sport remains protected. After cutoff, return RC8 to disarm before a fresh arm request. This can remove thrust during an upset that might otherwise recover. Verify the parking and cutoff/rearm sequence with props removed on each installation.
- Known limitation: recent smooth-surface hovers showed uncommanded Z bobbing or drift after RF exclusion and pressure disagreement, particularly in FLST. This promotion does not fix that behavior or qualify rejected RF experiments. Maintain clearance and pilot supervision; optic-sensor hardware investigation is the next focus.
- Older 09252601 and 09012602 remain available through their immutable historical downloads. Keep individual calibration and verify tuning when rolling back.
OHIO-1 Experimental 10122601
Same exact firmware as Stable and the local Intermediate lane.
Operator-selected Stable. Weak-flow drift and existing RF/pressure Z limits remain. No parameter changes; no reflash if already on 10122601. Individual failsafe fault cases remain simulation-qualified unless physically checked.
